In the Biscay Bay, in Plentzia, there is the first Underwater Drinks Aging Laboratoy that works as artificial reef. It´s built to recreate the same conditions as sunk ships. Since the old days, beverages like wine, rum, whisky or beer have been recovered from underwater.
In the laboratory they study drinks´ evolution, at the same time they research the artificial reef and it´s marine life and control how how species live together with beverages.
With this progress they recreate the same changes that a beverage can have inside a sunk ship, these bottles have been highly valuated in auction houses.
